'I Just Want The Ball' - Malik Nabers Doesn't Care Who The Next Giants Coach Is, Has One Simple Rule For The Offense That Everyone Needs To Know
It's day 1 of the offseason which means we're getting the list of coaches, people guessing who is going where. I don't care, as long as this coach doesn't fuck games up and gets coordinators who want to work for him. That seems like a good start. Oh, and a guy who makes sure Jaxson Dart is still the guy. 2-for-2 and we're actually a step ahead of where we've been. You become Coach of the Year if you force Schoen out like Coen did with Trent Baalke.
But, this is the most important here. I don't need to know the ins and outs or big time details of an offensive scheme. I need to know they are going to get Malik Nabers the damn ball. He's been stuck with shitty quarterback play before getting hurt right when we finally used brains and played Jaxson Dart.
I will scream as much as possible that Malik Nabers is a superstar when healthy. It's even more important that we keep him a Giant. It's not exactly a secret that people will leave if we keep being complete dogshit and have people run this franchise into the ground. So if Malik Nabers wants the ball, get him the damn ball. I know all wide receivers think they are open on every single play, but there's a good chance that Nabers is open.
Put Nabers and Dart in these coaches meetings and let them lead the search. I don't trust Schoen, I don't trust Mara. Let them figure out who the hell can get them to win enough games so we're not all apathetic by October.
