Frankie & Arnold Schwarzenegger Lifted Weights Together
(Editor's Note- This was written by Jenks)
I am writing this on my train home for Christmas. Dante just texted me demanding I write a blog. I told him I was too tired to write coherently but would do it tomorrow.
Anyways, experiencing the magnetic force of Arnold Schwarzenegger exceeded my impossible expectations. Arnold is the definition of a living legend, with access and freedom to do anything he wants with his time.
He has seen it all, done it all, and is one of the most famous people ever to walk the planet.
At 78 years young, he saw Frank Fleming’s story and took immediate action for one reason:
INSPIRATION.
Arnold chooses to spend his time and influence to inspire good in the world. In a time when people feel more disconnected than ever. It says everything about his character.
His team was incredibly generous, fast, and proactive in making this all come together in about 96 hours. Thank you to Daniel and Noah. We are humbled and thrilled to collaborate more in the future.
Mikey Bets pulled an all-nighter editing and clipping the longest episode we’ve ever done under immense pressure. Boy, did Bets deliver. I think he is cooking his family's Christmas dinner now, which can’t be safe. Prayers & appreciation to Bets.
The expectations were set from the jump that Arnold would take Frank through a proper 40-minute workout as a total newcomer. Frank showed up not just willing, but excited to lift weights.
I've tried to get him into lifting for a couple of years...turns out I just needed Picasso to be his painting teacher.
Arnold’s sons and friends were all down-to-earth, awesome hangs, while the icons clanged and banged their plates. Although, Patrick almost ended the episode before it started by wearing a Dodgers jacket and bringing up the Mets.
Frank started ranting moments before Arnold arrived. I was shook, but Frank rebooted his brain just in time.
The workout, the conversations about fitness, the way Arnold coaches Frank…all of it…
Is the best of humanity.
An international icon throwing all of his power behind an underdog because that underdog is trying to inspire good.
Arnold knew this episode would save lives and delivered the greatest show we’ve ever put out. Inspiring the masses is a superpower mightier than the Terminator.
If Frank can go from 530+ pounds to working out with Arnold & weighing in at 285 pounds, any of us can really do anything.

It takes support and some luck for sure (shoutout NJ transit), but most of all discipline. Frank shows us all that we can only maximize our potential if we hold ourselves entirely accountable.
It wasn’t a tweet that made this happen, it was a year 50 odyssey for a kid from Belleville that led him here. It’s so important to remember that Arnold never would’ve taken an interest if Frank didn’t suffer, persevere, triumph, and now inspire the way he does. If you are currently suffering, don’t give up.
This is a win for all of Barstool Sports and Stoolies, because moments like this are only possible when a massive team all move in the same direction.
Arnold & Frank hope this collaboration can serve as a huge ray of light this Christmas. No matter where you are in life, lean into hope. Combine it with discipline, and there are no boundaries as to where you can go.
Arnold’s team is excited to track Frank’s progress on Arnold’s Pump Club app.
We resume lifting weights upon his return on Tuesday. This wasn’t a one-time thing. This was the beginning of the next chapter. It’s time for Frankie to pump it up.
More episodes of Frank Walks with athletes will be lifts in 2026 instead of walks. Book it.
Frank is committed, and we all know what that means.
Personally, I am completely overwhelmed with gratitude, especially to the bosses who hired me at Barstool and my colleagues. Rather than get into my feelings, the best way to show appreciation is to Keep Pushin’, and that’s exactly what I intend to do.
I am physically, emotionally, and intellectually drained. But I just rewatched the episode with my family, and I haven’t seen my dad laugh so much in years.
I hope this content brings you joy and inspiration this Christmas. Dream big and never give up. I love you all, and I give you my word, the best is yet to come.
