HEAD ON A SWIVEL - Ja Rule Blasts His Drive Directly Into The Crowd Surrounding The Tee Box, Delivers A Perfect Reaction
Hold on.
IT'S MURDA
Okay, that just felt obligatory. Now, this is the world's most dangerous game. It's one I don't know why anyone plays. You're at a celebrity golf event, the only spot to stand is a good 3 rows behind anyone teeing off. You have to know that at some point in one of these things someone is going smoke a tee shot directly into the crowd. That thing went sideways and no one stood a chance.
But the reaction really sells it. My guy in the back coming out with his hands up, he knew it was coming. Anyone with a brain had to know this was coming. Smooth by Ja to play it off smooth. Was shocked he didn't put that bad boy 280 down the middle of the fairway.
Giphy Images.I've been lucky enough to go to a few golf events, majors even. There's nothing more terrifying than standing close to someone, anyone golfing. I don't care if they are pros, I've seen enough Justin Rose shanks to know my ass belongs behind anyone with a club. A simple rule to live by. Felt like he knew it was coming with the 'gotta ignore you guys right now.' The moment anyone in that area heard that, run. It's a fire drill at that point.
This is why a breakfast ball is created though. I don't care if you go to the range or not. You get up to that first tee as an amateur in the back of your mind you think 'well I might have two chances here.' You do the thing where you casually toss out 'so before we tee off, how do you feel about a breakfast ball on 1? Back is a little tight, haven't played much lately.' You're just hoping someone else agrees - they always do. No one wants to be the person to say no to a breakfast ball before the tee shot.
Don't care how many times it happens, it's always funny. Head on a swivel around Ja.
