Finnish Second League Team FC Haka Fans Allegedly Set Their Stadium On Fire After They Were Relegated
Finnish soccer: it just means more. If you thought that Michigan athletics were the biggest dumpster fire in sports right now, look no further than second tier FC Haka. After their team was relegated, their stadium mysteriously set on fire. Finnish authorities are saying that it was "deliberate", so there's absolutely no chance it was anything other than a disgruntled fan.
Apparently some teen took credit for it for some social media likes, leading us to another example of clout-farming gone wrong. You think that American sports fans are crazy, imagine what higher tier fans in European soccer would do for their team, let alone some random 2nd tier Finnish league team.
My best legal advice to any fan is to not commit arson, regardless if your team wins or loses. I'm not a lawyer but that feels like sound advice to go ahead and throw out there. And by the way, FC Haka is one of the most successful clubs in all of Finland:
Good luck out there to whatever teen was stupid enough to do this!
