Calling His Shot: Josh Hines-Allen Says Anyone Who Keeps Doubting The Jags Are Going To Have To Watch Them In The Super Bowl

I love this from Josh Hines-Allen, even if I have soft spot for Josh Hines-Allen. It's easy for everyone to make fun of the Jags, because, well, we never see them win. We see them in the playoffs, we see them showing up from time to time, but no one has ever thought the Jags are a Super Bowl team. That all changes when they wear these jerseys

Just more proof that every team's throwbacks are better than the ones they wear now and just wear them all the time. I don't care who you are. Go back to the jerseys and look that actually is awesome. This tricks my brain into thinking it's Tom Coughlin on the sideline with Mark Brunell running around out there. Maybe Byron Leftwich, you get the point. 

I also say fuck it and give us the Jags in the Super Bowl. I want to see new blood. I mean, sure, the Bills finally getting there would be awesome and it's still new blood. But the Chiefs stink, the Eagles might stink, at the minimum they can't stand each other. Give us new teams out there with a chance to make the Super Bowl. I also like to think that this is directed to one person and one person only 

Now what else is Josh Hines-Allen supposed to say here? We're going to be in the 1pm Saturday Wild Card game and maybe lose? Of course not. It's sports. Every player thinks their team is going to win a title when they are a decent team. I don't think anyone on the Titans for a second thought this. And the Jags have more going for them than just Hines-Allen being awesome. 

Don't know what it means but it's awesome and it's working. Smoke is smoke, everyone is going to see the Jags in the Super Bowl.
