"It's Good For The Clicks And Views" – Wannabe Influencer Kid is On a Nationwide Tour Passing Out Machetes and Liquor to Homeless People
NEW: Man says he is going on a nationwide tour handing out machetes and booze to homeless people. Influencer Keith Castillo says he has pulled off the stunts so far in Austin, New Orleans, and Little Rock. According to the New York Post, Castillo is planning on going to New York, Las Vegas and Los Angeles next. The influencer says he spoke to police about handing out the machetes and says they told him he wasn’t doing anything illegal. “Honestly I really don’t care bro, it’s good for the clicks and views, you know. Gotta do what we have to do so we eat,” Castillo said when asked about handing out alcohol. Recipe for disaster.
Surprisingly, no, this is NOT a Mr. Beast video. As much as I'm sure Mr. Beast would love to make another million dollars off some drunk homeless machete street fight content, I'm afraid he's too big for that now. Maybe 2013 Mr. Beast does it. But 2025 Mr. Beast has too much to lose. He's moved on to pitting impoverished mothers against each other in watered down Squid Games competitions.
Anyways, let's explore the pros and cons of passing out machetes to homeless people. Pro – it keeps the homeless safe. Consider this video:
I understand this situation involves an axe. But for all intents and purposes, axes and machetes are the same in the streets. Look at that probable homeless man under duress. The man is being harassed. His back against the wall. He's in imminent danger. But thanks to his axe, he was able to safely exit the McDonald's. To take my argument one step further, once the axe man pulled his axe, it was the rest of the McDonald's that was in danger. Because they did not have an axe. You have to think if everybody in the McDonald's drew an axe, that McDonald's probably stays in tact that day.
The best way to protect yourself against a crazy drunk machete wielding homeless man is to be a crazy drunk machete wielding homeless man yourself. The more machetes on the streets better.
Cons – Can't think of any. Nope. Look how happy everyone is to receive their machete and liquor. Certainly nothing about weaponizing/drunkanizing the homeless population, a population of people notoriously prone to violence and mental illness, makes me think anything could go wrong.
To this kid's "credit", he could not care less if he turns Little Rock, Arkansas into one big homeless machete fight. This machete kid is something else. These new age influencers are something else. They do not give a fuck about anything but the views. This kid's not trying to make a political statement or anything. He's just making people hate him because it pays to do so.
NY Post – “These are for, like, tool purposes. They have zero intent for what people are claiming they want to do with the [machetes],” Castillo said.
He expressed no second thoughts on handing out alcohol to potential substance abusers.
“Honestly I really don’t care bro, it’s good for the clicks and views, you know,” Castillo said. “Gotta do what we have to do so we eat.”
And you know there's just nothing going on in his brain. I doubt he even experiences emotions. He's the evolved form of that asshole Barstool fired who spilled cereal on trains.
Machete kid simply cracked the code of 'give homeless machetes and alcohol' = 'make money'. That's it. That's all that going on upstairs. Guess it beats getting a regular 9-5. Fun world we're living in nowadays. We are experiencing the height of entertainment.
