"Where Did All The Pussy Go?" – Probably To This Strapping Young Los Angeles Man Who Was Caught on Video Rescuing a 7-Year Old Child From a Blazing Fire

"Where did all the pussy go?", is the question everybody in Los Angeles will be asking for the next few weeks. And the answer will be, "at Richard Recinos house".

As far as fire rescues go, this isn't necessarily the most impressive one I've ever seen. 9/11 happened in my lifetime. A burning tree in the front yard is a long ways away from that. And it's not quite as jaw-dropping as fielding raining children who are being dropped into your arms from more than three stories above.

But when it comes to heroic rescues, they don't get any more stereotypical, and borderline ham-fisted than saving a small child from a fire. It's almost too cliche for Hollywood. I don't exactly know Richard's marital/dating status, but doesn't appear to have a ring on his finger. And as a man, you can't possibly ask for a better wingman than having that video queued up in your phone.

There's a million different methods men use to pick up women at bars. They all have their own tricks. Maybe a go to joke, or a made-up story that highlights what an incredible catch you are. Some will go as far as teaming up with a buddy, and running a two man weave of sorts. One guy plays the asshole. The other plays the hero who rescues the poor woman from said asshole. Naturally, the woman rewards the hero with sex. Others will walk straight up to the bar, order a drink, then look a beautiful young woman in the eyes, and say “And please my good sir, get this little temptress whatever she’s drinking.”

But thankfully for Richard, he won't be forced to resort to Aubrey Huff dating advice any time soon. Because there's no wingman in the world more effective than having this weapon queued up on your phone.

There's nothing more textbook heroic than saving a little girl from fire. The video is so on the nose it almost seems fake. And let's be honest, Richard certainly isn't the ugliest hero I've ever seen.

A strapping young lad. Undoubtedly handsome. Clean shaven. A perfectly straight white smile. Hair like a slightly grown up hispanic version of Stephen Colletti (Laguna Beach, 2004).

And he rescues poor helpless 7-year olds from raging fires. While off-duty. On his way home from family Thanksgiving. Richard might be the most eligible bachelor in East Hollywood. Well… I guess there's some pretty stiff competition around there. But if I were Richard, I'd have found whatever East Hollywood bar was playing the local news that night, and just posted up in front of the TV until my segment came on. Then probably pay the bar to play that 30-minutes of news on a loop. All while I have that picture of me with the girl I saved as the background of my phone.

Well done, Richard. What a video to have in your arsenal. It's conversation started for life. Merriam-Webster could put that picture of you sprinting away from the flames with child on shoulder underneath their definition of 'hero' in the dictionary.
