'We All Gotta Be Better. Cam's A Part Of That' - Titans Head Coach Brian Callahan Is Basically Begging To Be Fired With Everyone Thinking He Threw Cam Ward Under The Bus

I don't know if you watched the Titans/Raiders game. If you did, I don't know why you did. That game sucked, much like most games with the Titans. I know they have a rookie quarterback and you can't assume every rookie quarterback to come in and change the culture like Jaxson Dart, but it's mostly Brian Callahan. This guy stinks as a head coach, being 4-18 says as much. But, it's also this subtle war of words he has going on with Cam Ward.

Little life lesson here, but quarterbacks are way more valuable to an NFL team than a head coach. Let me correct that a bit. No. 1 pick quarterbacks are way more valuable than an NFL head coach on a shitty team. No one is saying to bow down to the rookie quarteback, but I'd maybe not say his name and his name only here. You can't do the whole coaching line of 'we gotta coach better, play better' and then throw in 'Cam is part of that.' A quick search of Brian Callahan on Twitter (a place where no one ever lies or plays into hyperbolic statements) says he's enemy number 1 of Titans fans.

Even worse than this is everyone calling Brian Callahan a liar. He found a little something in Arizona last week when they played faster and sped up the offense with some no huddle stuff. Today? Yeah, none of that. It was methodical and then a bunch of boring plays. All I know is if your favorite NFL team is in the market for a head coach, I'd stay away from the Zac Taylor coaching tree. Not exactly working out great.

Makes you miss the days of Steve McNair, Eddie George and that group. They at least won and meant something where now you can make a case that the Titans are the most irrelevant NFL franchise out there. They are just sort of there with an outdated color scheme, jerseys and weird logo. Only thing that can save them is giving the Texans all the rights to the Oilers back and bringing back these jerseys

Or fire Brian Callahan. That would probably work for Titans fans too.
