Crazy Story - Mark Sanchez Was Reportedly Stabbed Outside Indianapolis Bar Last Night, Suffered Critical Injuries, Then Arrested Today in Hospital For Battery, Unlawful Entry of Vehicle, and Public Intoxication

ESPN – Former NFL quarterback and current Fox Sports broadcaster Mark Sanchez is hospitalized after being stabbed in Indianapolis early Saturday morning.

Fox Sports said in a statement that Sanchez is recovering and in stable condition.

"We are deeply grateful to the medical team for their exceptional care and support. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mark, and we ask that everyone please respect his and his family's privacy during this time," Fox Sports said.

Crazy story out of Indianapolis today. This was ESPN's story posted this afternoon just before 2 PM EST. Mark Sanchez was in the hospital with critical injuries but was in stable condition. He was stabbed last night (technically this morning) around 12:30 AM EST. Detective said it was not a random act of violence. Which implied Mark Sanchez was involved in some sort of altercation outside of the bar, as opposed to a completely random attack. But this report could mean a lot of different things.

Just a incredibly sad and scary situation all around. Hopefully, Mark Sanchez being in stable condition means he'll end up being ok. Thoughts and prayers to his family, his wife Perry Mattfeld, who you might recognize from the TV show Shameless. They were married just two years ago. They have 3 children together, including twins they just had back in March. 

But early this evening, the story took a hell of a turn.

There was speculation of this from the jump. But the speculation came primarily from Reddit. So you always have to take that with a giant grain of salt. But it appears Reddit might have been on to something this time. 

God damn, Mark. You still hope he's ok, but the recent developments sure do put a hell of a different spin on this story.
