The Most Electric Voice in Red Sox Nation - Hogdale - Is Bringing His Talents To The Barstool Red Sox/Yankees Live Stream Wednesday Night

The beauty of living in 2025 is that you can call baseball games on Twitch from Iowa and provide Red Sox fans with an electric final call of an all-time Red Sox-Yankees playoff game.

And that's precisely what the man known to Red Sox fans as Hogdale did Tuesday Night.

A man who admits that 99% of his calls are "right from the dome," Hogdale will be taking his talents and passion to New York for the Sox and Yankees Game 2, live-streaming right from the Barstool Gambling Cave.

When Yoshida put the Sox ahead 2-1, Hogdale was up to the challenge.

And again when Bregman gave the Sox a 3-1 lead late.

Hogdale has been doing this all season, to the point where he was invited up to the Red Sox radio booth a few weeks ago. He's a star among Red Sox fans, and it's tremendous to see Dave reach out.

As a Red Sox fan and consumer of Hogdale clips, it's fucking great he'll be in the Gambling Cave for the livestream. I only wish I wasn't coming off my own livestream performance that my boss…well, he apprarently hated.

And I feel like an asshole. Playoff baseball is intense. When the Sox fell behind 1-0, all I kept thinking about was the stat that teams who win Game One have gone on to win all 12 of the three-game Wild Card series. That carried throughout the game. Being locked in kept me pretty quiet. Not awesome for a live stream, looking back at the clips.

But today is a new day. I'll be ready to help or assist Hogdale anyway I can tonight. I spent a bunch of seasons in the Red Sox booth doing in-game updates, pre and post-game shows. Hogdale needs an update guy? I got him. He needs water or soda, I'm on it. He does play-by-play and color, so he has no need for a second voice, but I'll be ready to help him anyway I can.

It sounds like he'll be on the call for as long as the Red Sox are in the playoffs.

Hopefully for us, it's a long run.
