Challenge To Bethpage: Viktor Hovland Isn't Scared Of The US Crowd Heckling Him Because, 'They Won't Come Close To The Thoughts I Have In My Own Head'

Goddamnit, I forgot how awesome Viktor Hovland is. I know I have to hate him this week, but are we sure we can't trade for him? The man went to college at Oklahoma State, he's basically as American as you can get. We know Hovland is a little out there too, the man just wants to talk about UFO's:

And I know the whole 'one of us' or 'sicko' term is completely overused, especially in the golf world, this is one of the more relatable comments. Viktor Hovland is not one of us because he's a multi-millionaire and professional athlete. We are not. But anyone who golfs somewhat regularly knows the thoughts he's talking about. You're not at the yips, but you're not just out playing 18 and happy the entire time. You're wondering how the hell you bladed an iron in or why you're inconsistent with your drives - because everyone thinks they should be better at golf. It's really the only sport where anyone at any skill level thinks they should always be playing better. It makes no sense and that's why this is the toughest sport in the world.

The only option is for Bethpage to take this as a challenge. Yeah, it's an awesome quote and I hate how much I like Viktor Hovland, but it's the Ryder Cup. You can't just accept that. You have to try to out heckle Viktor's own thoughts. Probably impossible, but it's the challenge we have now until we find something to trade to Norway for Hovland. Doesn't even have to be a golfer, can we trade them like Matt Turner in goal? What about Gio Reyna since he's fallen out with the US soccer team? I think that might be the trade.

Norway gets Gio Reyna and a ton of Minnesota Vikings official gear

US Ryder Cup team gets Viktor Hovland.
