Luke Donald And The Rest Of Europe Constantly Trying To Take Shots At The US Ryder Cup Team For Getting Paid For This Week Isn't Sad, It's Just Pathetic
For whatever reason, team Europe - poor and/or hates charity - is constantly taking shots at the US team for getting paid this week. For those who don't know:
Long story short there was a rumor that this caused a problem in the last Ryder Cup, most notably Patrick Cantlay thinking the US team should be compensated more for playing in the Ryder Cup. He denied it, US denied it, decided for this structure and everyone is donating the money to charity anyways:
That hasn't stopped Luke Donald and basically every other person associated with Europe from taking shots. That first tweet is from the Opening Ceremony last night. Speaking of which, Carson Daly hosted that. For anyone else over the age of 35, imagine this guy is some sort of massive star in real news now
KMazur. Getty Images.Still insane the TRL guy is all over the place now. Anyways, this is about Luke Donald constantly taking shots. Yesterday wasn't the first day he did this:
First things first, who gives a shit about getting money or not? It has no impact on me cheering for the United States of America vs anyone. Also, it's golf. Everyone in golf cares about money and that's why you have LIV, elevated events and everything else going on in the world of pro golf. It's some of the fakest outrage I've ever seen and it's constantly coming from the European side.
Oh yeah, the Ryder Cup doesn't matter to us. Shut the fuck up. If it didn't matter to us we wouldn't have revamped the way to view the captain and let Keegan Bradley sort of redo the process. This is what I needed to get fired up since Bethpage is getting rained out today. Europe loves turning up their nose at us during the Ryder Cup. Oh, we're bad fans because we're assholes and loud. Oh, we're not pure golfers. Oh, we like money. Yeah we're better than you and we're going to prove it this week.
Sad indeed.
