Tennessee Gives Away the Game of the Year to Georgia in Overtime

I'm sick. Tennessee came out and blitzed Georgia to the tune of a 21-7 first quarter, battled back from a lull to take a 38-30 lead with 6:30 to go and then pissed it away in horrifying fashion. This is one of the most crushing losses I can remember.

If any one of half a dozen things goes differently, Tennessee is being talked about as one of the three or four best teams in America. Get a stop on fourth down. Don't settle for a long field goal at the end of the game. Don't get a false start immediately preceding the field goal. Make the field goal. Score a touchdown in overtime.

Just pick ONE of those and you win.

Whatever, man. Those are two great football teams. Vols just gave away a win that might keep them out of the College Football Playoff, though.
