This Good Charlotte Luke Combs Performance Of "The Anthem" At Stagecoach Was Awesome

Just awesome. There's certain songs that I feel like everyone likes. I would say The Anthem is up there for one of those songs. It's not one I go out of my way to fire up on Spotify but when it comes on shuffle I can't help but turn up the volume. Just as good of a tune as it gets. It also is one of those songs I love because it feels like it transports you back to a certain place and time while you are listening to it. For me that would be a keg party at the end of freshman year of high school, or cruising around in someone older than you's car with the radio going just driving around aimlessly. The ultimate of those songs for me is Mr.Brightside, that immediately brings me back to past midnight, in a dingy bar you used a fake ID to get into. Just an all time song, and all time period of life where your biggest worry was what button up you were going to where that night, what bar you were going to, and which girl was going to reject you.

Anyway, I have always respected the music industry because it feels like to an extent, no one is really jealous of different genre's. This often gets put on display when someone dies. I'll never forget Chris Martin's tribute to Adam Yauch of The Beastie Boys.

I also love... LOVE when artists cover songs. So to see Luke Combs and Good Charlotte, two artists you would never think would overlap do a cover like this and nail it is just fucking awesome. Give me more of this, and share all of these to me on twitter @Return_of_RB . I can't get enough of them.

Here's one that I just found that's awesome also.
