For two months now the sports memorabilia world has been on the hunt for a 1/1 Rookie Debut Paul Skenes baseball card. Grown men out there spending thousands in hopes to hit the jackpot and get their hands on this gem. Want an idea how much this is worth? The Pirates were offering 30 YEARS of season tickets behind home plate for it. Livvy Dunne even offered the lucky person the opportunity to sit with her in a suite and watch a Pirates game. The stakes have never been higher. I heard rumors Meek Phill sold his house behind his family's back to build up the proper bankroll to buy enough packs.

Well, after seemingly turning over every stone in all the land, we have a lucky winner. An 11 year old from LA!

Fucking LA legit doesn't lose anything these days when it comes to baseball. I mean give the rest of us a chance. But for real this is awesome for everyone involved. The biggest winner outside of the kid here is easily Livvy though.

Imagine the finder was some creep 50 year old who streams 100 card breaks a day on TikTok to an audience of like two people and forced Livvy to sit next to him at a game? Bullet dodged assuming this isn't just his dad posing as the son for the story. "11 year old collector" is a bit of a weird thing to see written so maybe that's the case, but let's just hope for Livvy's sake it's really just some kid who genuinely loves collecting baseball cards.

Considering this 11 year old is from LA I can't imagine they're taking the Pirates up on the 30 years of season tickets offer. PLEASE take the money through an auction. Don't fall for the Paul Skenes autographed bats and a meet and greet. Take the cash, Also the date with Livvy should still be on the table, right?

Forget the season tickets, that one game is all that matters…plus $500k.
