NESN Is Firing Don Orsillo Because NESN Is A Bunch Of Goddamn Morons

So reports are that Orsillo will be “let go” or that NESN is “moving on” from Orsillo at the end of the season and that will without a doubt be the worst thing to happen in this disaster of a 2015. I can’t even begin to try and understand it. I’m assuming that NESN just recognizes he’s the best play by play in the game and they’re doing their childish “You don’t dump me, I dump you!” thing before he has a chance to leave? Because nothing else would make a lick of sense. Orsillo and Remy are the absolute best in the game. Their story time and Don’s laughter were the legit only reasons to watch the Red Sox for a very healthy portion of this season. Remember when Don took that road trip off earlier this season? Yeah, neither does anyone because whoever that dude was who filled in had everyone changing the channel in about an inning. Orsillo is what made the Sox broadcasts great, he could make it work with someone else in the booth, Remy couldn’t.

But, because NESN is a bunch of motherfuckers Don’s out. Voice of the Sox, the voice of Boston summer, and the best laugher ever is gone after 15 years. So long, sweet prince.
