Update: Jayden Daniels Has Now Won Rookie Of The Week 7 Of The First 9 Weeks Of The Season

Here's the thing- now that I've started this blog series updating every time Jayden has won Rookie of the Week, I can't stop. At first it was a fun little bit, as I thought surely there would have to be someone in the NFL who could win the award a week here or a week there. But besides week 2, the only week Jayden hasn't won is a week he didn't play. I don't think there has ever been dominance in a weekly award ever in the history of sports. And if you're a curmudgeon, stamping your feet going "who cares, it doesn't matter!!!!", it just makes it more fun for us. Of course it "doesn't matter", but at the same time, that's why it matters so much. Because there are people who take it SO SERIOUSLY it's fun to throw a parade every week he wins it. Sports are fun and Jayden winning every Rookie of the Week award is fun.

Thankfully we are past the point of wondering "Is Jayden *actually* good" and now to the point of "is Jayden a top 5 QB in the league?", "Will Jayden win MVP?", "Will this team go to the Super Bowl?". We are in the first year of the rebuild and the entire franchise has revolutionized thanks to Adam Peters, Dan Quinn, and Jayden Daniels. Also Kliff, the Oline, etc, but you get what I'm saying.

And honestly, it makes it even more shocking Daniel Jones is STILL the starting QB of the Giants. Everyone has known for 5 seasons he ain't the guy, and they are still trotting ol' DJ out there, despite seeing what Jayden has done in Washington. To succeed in this league you need a top-tier QB, and thank the good lord we have one.
