Colorado Plays Another Instant Classic, But Falls to Kansas State Late

Colorado might not win every game, but they're going to give you a hell of a finish pretty much every time they step on the football field. This week's instant classic featured the Buffaloes erasing a 24-14 deficit to take a late lead before Kansas State went back down the field and won the game on a 50-yard touchdown pass.

Obviously things didn't play out this way, but Colorado had a legitimate College Football Playoff path if the Buffs had found a way to hold on at the end of that game and take down KSU. They're still definitely not out of it in the Big 12 even with the loss, because any one of six or seven teams could win that league without even needing to be very good.

Colorado goes to Arizona next week in what will be a tough game, but after that, the hardest game left on the schedule is Utah at home and that is certainly winnable. 10-2 is not off the table for CU, especially with how Shedeur Sanders looked down the stretch tonight.

Colorado is must-watch television regardless of what time the game is on. If you fall asleep while the Buffs are playing, you are guaranteed to miss an insane finish one way or the other.
