Greg Oden Says He Wanted To Kill Everyone In The Fucking World Because The Year He Retired, Timofey Mozgov Got $50 Million

Look there's not a bigger Greg Oden fan on this planet than me, and I might be the second biggest Greg Oden fan at this company behind Titus. But if you don't feel bad for this guy, then you have no soul. The fact of the matter is that Greg Oden was the most dominate big man in college basketball in a million years, and in a draft with a little known played named Kevin Durant, he went 1st overall. And it wasn't even a question. Greg Oden was one bad mama jama coming out of high school in Indiana and then spending one year at Ohio State.

My god, what a career that could've been. Everyone knows the story of the injuries, missing his entire Rookie season with a knee injury and never even coming close to what his potential was. And it's not because Greg was a bad dude or made bad decisions. He just couldn't catch a fucking break with his health, and in October 2016, he officially retired and was out of the league. And you know what else happened that year? Timofey fucking Mozov inked a 4-year, $64 million deal....

And at this point, Greg, if you're reading this. I'm going to ask you to put the phone down. Because I love you, man. You came to our party once in college. You took us to the National Championship. You're good to my family and to my family's family. And you don't deserve the path your career winded down, but for the purpose of this blog, I need to show the world Timofey Mosgov's career earnings. And they are as followed:

Yeah, I could see why Greg Oden would want to kill everyone. And I wouldn't blame him if he did. Greg Oden played like two total seconds in the NBA because of all his injuries, and he still has a career high game of 24 points. Timofey Mosgov never scored 24 in his 8 seasons. If Greg Oden was simply half of the player he was supposed to be, he'd have made two hundred million. And if he was literally 25% of who he was supposed to be, he'd have still made over a hundred million. Because the NBA just throws out money to everybody and anybody who can make a roster these days. The only problem is Greg Oden got to the point where he simply couldn't with his injuries.

**I will say: Greg Oden might've lost out of a couple hundred million and being a max player, but in the grand scheme of things, he may not have had it that much worse off than the rest of us. He was the King, even if it only was for a little while.
