Will Howard Ended His Post Game Interview After The Michigan State Game With "I Can't Wait To Get Out Of This State"

ONE OF US! ONE OF US! ONE OF US! I didn't wake up with morning wood earlier today, but I certainly have some now after seeing this clip. OUR QB GETS IT! Eats breakfast? Thinking about Michigan. Goes to class (I hope not)? Thinking about Michigan. Goes on the road and solidifies his Heisman campaign with 3 touchdowns against a 1-loss Big Ten team, in primetime with the entire country's eyes on him? THINKING ABOUT MICHIGAN!!! I love where this kid's head is at. If only Kyle "it's just another game" McCord had this last year we'd be National Champs. But instead, we're on a Revenge Tour. But either way, what a great interview. Get me out of this state as soon as possible. Reminds me of when Woody Hayes pushed his car that ran out of gas over the state border to Toledo because he wasn't spending a fucking cent in Michigan.

Listen, people love to talk about this NIL / Transfer Portal world and how it's ruining the sport. How players have become mercenaries and no longer care about who they play for, more so how much they are playing for. And I'll admit, I was nervous when this Ohio State team turned the keys over to a transfer QB that has no ties to the state, nor any experience with the rivalry. But you know what? 4 games into the season, this motherfucker GETS IT. It's not just that he throws up the O-H when he scores.....

....it's that he seems to actually understand the only thing that matters to his reputation for the rest of his life is how he does against Michigan. Always talking about the rivalry. A true Buckeye. Urban Meyer would be proud.

Anyways, to all you who will inevitably comment on Ohio State's weak schedule thus far, be careful what you wish for. We have the toughest next 4 games of anyone in the country, and I don't expect any of the results to change....at all.

Two top 10 teams, a 15-2 combined overall record, and their biggest games on the road? When Ohio State cleans up with this slate, I'd expect them to be a clear #1 team in the country. But something tells me the narrative will shift and the goal posts will be moved, only for people to say the Big Ten stinks this year.

…I just can't wait til we get the opportunity to play Bama / Georgia / Texas and shut everyone up. And of course, I cannot wait until November 30th when Will Howard and the boys hang 100 on those frauds from Ann Arbor. Tick tock.
