The Refs From The Michigan / Minnesota Game Need To Be Investigated IMMEDIATELY
I'm going to keep this one short and sweet: I've lost all respect. Sorry this is absolutely rigged for money....or ratings I'm not sure which. I won't be silent. Just saw it live. Sorry.
The fact of the matter is that the officials flat out made up the offsides call to save Michigan's ass. They were playing quite possibly the worst team in the Big Ten, at home, and it took a referee dropping a flag AFTER Minnesota recovered an onside kick to win. The flag was for offsides, which, if clear and obvious you have to call. The only problem is that it was both clear and obvious that no one was offsides.
Forget the idea that you can't even review it (why not?), how the fuck do you call something that isn't there??? This isn't the Ohio State homer in me. Mike Pereira came on Fox and said it too. Now the analysts are saying it was a flat out screw job. This is a disgrace to not just college football but to America as a whole. It should've been 27-24 Michigan, with Minnesota having the ball damn near in field goal range already, with time left to score a touchdown. And all of the momentum. But the refs took it into their own hands and completely ruined the game. Any chance Stalions was the side judge in this one? We've already seen him use a disguise on the sidelines once.
Whatever, I'm actually glad they won. Would've been hilarious for Michigan (should be 2-3 now) to lose at home to Minnesota, but I want to end their season….not let them limp in and not care. I want them to be the ones to embarrass a team that thinks they can win, not the ones to bully a team that can't even beat Minnesota. But the good news is that Michigan fucking stinks. November 30th is coming on the calendar whether they like it or not. I'm sure they'll start serving live bats at all the food halls on campus in Ann Arbor hoping to get another global pandemic so they can cancel on us….again.
Now I see why Dave won't take the bet.
