Dan Hurley Got Caught On Film....Sit Down For This One....Yelling At A Player In Practice
Well folks, it's officially video clip season in college basketball now that practices have started. And through the first week, we've seen Cooper Flagg look like he's going to win the Wooden Award before the first game even tips off. We've got Jake Diebler at Ohio State jumping in close out drills and playing with the team. And we've got....make sure you're sitting down when you hear this one....Dan Hurley yelling at his team.
I need to know if the original poster of this clip was being serious or sarcastic when he said "this is the 1st coach to ever make players quit basketball". Because let me tell you something, buddy. Not only are there high school coaches out there that are 10x worse than calling their players "soft ass" or, god forbid, making them run and letting them know they haven't won shit at the school yet. And more important to note, Dan Hurley knows he's both mic'd up and on camera here. You think THIS is the extent of how Dan Hurley talks to his guys? I've got a Saudi Prince that wants to wire you $10,000,000 if you can just send him $1500 to get to a bank...
Anyways, on the newest episode of the Mark Titus Show, we discuss the practice clips, as well as:
- Derrick Rose retires. It stinks he's remembered in college for not taking the SAT and missing a big free throw, because Memphis had quite the year that season
- The Big 10 could have 10+ tournament teams but we're not sure any of them can contend for a National Title
- Micah Shrewsberry picked up a 5-star....right under Indiana's nose. Titus thinks he could be a Top 5 coach in the sport and he's about to show it.
- Utah State has been added to the Pac 12. Gonzaga was added for 15 minutes, but Scoops Guys got it wrong again.
