Incredible Video Of A Robot Going Full Alpha Mode On Some Idiot Barricaded In His Hotel Room, Leading To The First Police Robot Arrest In History

The advances made in modern technology these days are terrifying. There's less need for humans everywhere you look. Bad news all around no doubt. A.I. is taking over and robots that we've created are establishing more and more dominance by the second. So when I read the initial caption on the tweet above I was ready for the T-1000 to show up or at least something that resembles Robocop. Nope, this guy who engaged in a standoff with SWAT down in Texas got alpha'd by a robot that looks like it's primarily used for detecting bombs. 

When the video starts I actually thought this fella was a genius. Comes out with the blanket to blind the robot and confuse it. That's how you draw up a counter attack folks. That took next level ingenuity. We've got a regular ol' MacGyver on our hands. What this man and myself didn't expect was for the robot to maneuver around the blanket. That's when it was game over. You don't wanna go quietly to the robot? Well, here comes tear gas. His last resort of defense? Fuck it, just shoot the robot. Incredible move, but unfortunately that did absolutely nothing. 

Once the guy caved to the gas and came crawling out of his room I thought real police officers were going to swarm in and take him. Nope, the robot proceeded to drive over him and just totally dominate this poor lad. Have to imagine that aggression was in response to the gun shot. Now you've pissed it off.  

As if getting embarrassed by the robot wasn't bad enough, now he's gotta go back to prison for 20 years after violating his parole. 

(kcbd) The Texas Department of Criminal Justice said there was a warrant out for his arrest because he violated his parole by tampering with his electronic monitoring device.

According to the TDCJ, in 2017, Delarosa was sentenced to 20 years in prison for manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance. Delarosa was released from prison and placed on parole in April 2022.

Gotta be tough to head back to prison and be the guy who got worked by a robot. Gotta hope they don't have social media so you can lie that this was something from Terminator.
