The Season Is Over: Dolphins Place Tua Tagovailoa on IR
This season is over. Not only is this team cursed, but they are also performing terribly. It doesn’t matter who the backup quarterback is; this team is horrendous without Tua behind center. I don’t care that we signed Snoop Huntley. It will take him the entire season to learn the playbook, and he has no chance of running this offense at an elite level. It’s nearly impossible for any quarterback to step in and execute Mike’s offense seamlessly. Even if Tom Brady came out of retirement, he would need at least six weeks to get up to speed.
Listen, I love Tua—he’s a great guy and a solid quarterback—but how many times are we going to go through this before we say enough is enough? How many times will we watch our quarterback lying on the field, unconscious, and on the injured reserve with yet another concussion? This is the second time in three years that our QB1 is set to miss at least four games. You simply can’t compete for a championship if you’re constantly worried about your quarterback’s availability. I’m tired of having to search for backup quarterbacks like a girl shopping on Zara. Enough is enough. I’ve seen this scenario before, and I hope I’m wrong, but it seems clear that this season is over.
