The Internet Is Buzzing About Ana de Armas Saying Her New Movie With Sydney Sweeney Has A "Crazy Threesome", Which Is Proof That The Internet As We Know It Is Doomed
So I was mindlessly scrolling through Reddit today and saw this story pop up roughly a half dozen times on different subreddits over a few hours. Being a blogger for an internet smut rag that occasionally dabbles in the entertainment realm, I felt it was my duty to go in for a closer look since it meant that the upcoming Ana de Armas and Sydney Sweeney movie was going to break Deadpool & Wolverine's newly established record for highest grossing R rated movie ever. Or at the very least break Wild Things' record for the most rewatched threesome scene in history.
Instead I got a UK site called Joe giving me this breakdown of the movie.
Ana de Armas has revealed that her new film with Sydney Sweeney has a ‘crazy threesome relationship’. The latest film from Beautiful Mind director Ron Howard premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival over the weekend, and the star-studded cast has already created a major buzz.
Eden stars not only Ana de Armas and Sydney Sweeney, but also Jude Law, Vanessa Kirby and Daniel Bruhl. The film is set in the Galápagos Islands in the 1930s, and has been described as a survival thriller film.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, de Armas opened up about her role, which sees her character ‘The Baroness’ get involved in some wild relations.
“Having this crazy threesome relationship, and being a woman of opposites—either she’s sweet and tender and fragile and nervous and scared, or she’s absolutely crazy and dangerous,” the actress continued. “It was kind of finding that limit: What was the craziest I could get? How far could I go?”
I mean is nothing sacred anymore? I'm used to aggregators clipping quotes for the sake of clicks when it comes to insignificant things like sports and elections. But engaging in that sneakiness for a story like this is a bridge too far.
A movie with a crazy threesome and a movie with a crazy threesome relationship are two very different things, especially when the movie is directed by this wholesome son of a bitch.
Besides, we don't even know who is involved in this little love triangle with Ana. It could be the starlet Sydney Sweeney. It could be the fantastic Vanessa Kirby. It could even be the dreamy Jude Law Or it could be Daniel Bruhl, which would likely cause a bunch of pervs to ask for a refund of their $20 or so movie ticket (No offense, Daniel. I love you as Baron Zemo!).
This entire situation not only offends me as a lover of the theater (pronounced THE-AY-TER), but also as a media member that would never even THINK of pulling some headline shenanigans in order to get some cheap clicks. I would say every social media site should have to adhere to an ombudsman that could clarify any clickbaity bullshit or at the very least be held accountable by Community Notes like on Twitter. But we all know the toothpaste is already out of the tube on that one.
So instead let this blog serve as a heads up that everything may not be as they seem, even though this quote from Ana was intriguing to say the least…
The actress described one of the scenes in the film as the ‘ scariest thing [she’s] ever done’. It involves ‘some creative food play’, alongside singing and violence.
Oh hell yeah, NOW we are talking! To be clear, I'm not a song or violence guy. But I am obviously a food guy, which is why this quote has my brain cooking. How is Ana looking to get some creative food play? Are we talking about feeding Sydney Sweeney by acting like the food is an airplane or we talking something bigger, like Cup Noodles releasing a S'mores flavor.

Apologies for the shameless Snack Boys plug.
Again, we'll have to wait for this Eden movie to come out to see what the forbidden fruit is. Needless to say, the internet will be waiting in hushed tones to find out exactly what goes down once the reviews come out.
Also if you only clicked this blog because of the names of the two actresses in the headline, here is what they've been up to recently according to their Instagram accounts.
