Matt Rhule Has Given The Entire State Of Nebraska A Free Pass To Be Assholes When Colorado Comes To Town Saturday

So people in Nebraska are calling this the biggest game they've had since 2012 when the Cornhuskers represented the Legends Division in the Big Ten Championship game. I won't mention that they got beat 70-31 by the perennial offensive powerhouse, Wisconsin, in the game....because that's not the point of this blog. The point of this blog is that Nebraska is expected to be BUZZING on Saturday, with the fans being fully hydrated for kickoff seeing as it's a Primetime 7:30 ET start. In fact, the hype around the game is so high that I'm taking my scrawny ass down to Lincoln to see it live. But one thing I was nervous about for this trip is the "Nebraska Nice" rule that the in-staters follow of being good people. I want to throw on my red, maybe some overalls, represent the Big Ten, and tell Deion that his kind (meaning the rival Colorado Buffaloes) ain't welcome around here. But you gotta be Nebraska Nice!

That was until Matt Rhule gave the entire state a free pass to be complete assholes on Saturday.

For those of you that struggle with reading comprehension, of which there apparently are at least a few in this company I work for, he said to be nice on SUNDAY. Folks, the game is on SATURDAY. Meaning that Matt Rhule just gave all the good ol' corn boys of Nebraska the right to be unwelcoming to the out of towners for the game. Breaking News: Nebraska Nice has been suspended for 24 hours on Saturday, September 7th. And now the boys are free!!!!

Listen, I'm just a blogger. But if I were giving out handicapping advice on Saturday, I would give you three words: Go Big Red. Colorado is on fraud watch, Raiola is on God watch, and the crowd is going to be sold out, full of people NOT being Nebraska Nice. Don't get me wrong, Nebraska couldn't hold the jockstrap of the truly good teams in this country…..but Colorado is not one of then. And they get to be the lucky team who gets the show it to everyone on national television.

** I just hope the intro video this weekend when I'm down there is as sick as it was this past Saturday.

Hopefully the promos team didn't blow their load vs. UTEP.
