Breaking News: Today Is A Lucky Parking Spot Game In Cleveland

Look I don't have time to beat around the bush here. I have about 5 minutes to write this blog, text Nate/Hubbs/Clem, and get it up on the website for you. The fact of the matter is that the Guardians are reeling more than any baseball has in the history of the sport. Since April 13th, they've been sitting alone atop the AL Central. At the end of June, they had a commanding 10 game lead and I'll be honest, I may have peaked at the postseason schedule when making my college football plans for this Fall. But all of that has been put on hold, seeing as they have topped their 7 game losing streak last month by losing 9 of 12 this month. And a quick glance at the standings now shows that Cleveland and the Royals (who hold the tiebreaker) are tied in the AL Central:

We may be fucked. And after losing 3 straight to the Royals this week, with one more day game today, we may lose this lead for good by about 3 pm this afternoon. But there's one man who can stop this bleeding and get the Guardians back on track, and he knew exactly what he needed to do:

If You Know, You Know. And for those of you that don't get it, I don't have the time to blog all the photos and videos that show why this is important. You're just going to have to trust me that he had like a 19 game winning streak at Guardians games a few summers back, and he's now 5-0 this year parking in his lucky parking spot. And the 1 game where someone was in it, they lost. 

I've been warned by Dan Katz himself that he's the first person I need to notify about all Lucky Parking Spot Games, and he is ryding today once again.

People are chirping, saying the Royals are playing too well, and the Guardians are awful. Saying there's no chance this goes well today. But my counter to that is he's in his Lucky Parking Spot. I guess we're about to find out what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.
