Erling Haaland and Man City Are WASHED
I know what you're thinking: why the hell is Nicky Smokes on a soccer podcast when he's only been watching it for a year? That idiot has no idea what he's talking about. And you're right. Unless we're talking about Arsenal, I have no clue what's going on. But you can't say the same about the other four guys on this show. Rudy, Chief, Zah, and Miresh are all students of the game and provide actual insight into our beautiful sport. As for me, I'm just an instigator. In my eyes if you're not a Gunner, you're shite, and I will die on that sword until I have enough knowledge to provide a "proper" opinion.
In my eyes, Erling Haaland is overrated. I get it—his numbers are out of this world, but when I watch him play, he doesn’t move the needle for me. He’s a tap-in merchant. The only time he gets you to jump out of your seat is if he rips a screamer from outside the box. If he’s not doing that, he’s being spoon tap in passes from KDB, Bernardo, Foden, and all the other studs at City. If Haaland really wants to make a name for himself, he’d join a club like Arsenal. That way, we’d know he’s not just a City system merchant but an actual footballer.
