Warren Sapp Says Colorado's Defensive Line Is Bullets And You Can "Get Shot With A .38 Or A 9mm, You Pick"
Well, that's quite the analogy to choose. And I'm not just talking about the reference to literally getting shot by a gun, I'm also talking about the fact that Colorado's defense gave up 34.8 points per game last season. That was good enough for 119th in the country!
The fact of the matter is that Colorado has a whole lot of bark, and after losing their final 6 games of the season last year, and 8 of the final 9, it appears they don't have very much bite. But that doesn't stop Deion from refusing to talk to reporters that don't think he's a great coach. It doesn't stop Sheduer from saying they're everyone's Super Bowl. It doesn't stop the team from putting their social media handles on the back of their practice jerseys. It doesn't stop the program from putting out edited clips making them look better in practice. And apparently it doesn't Warren Sapp from acting like Colorado's defensive line is on par with the Georgias and Ohio States of the world.
Point being, the day this Colorado team loses their first game will be a sight to see on the glorious app we now call "X". Especially if it's Week 1 against an FCS school....
Remember, this is the same FCS school that Deion Sanders said in his press conference that he was upset his AD scheduled, because he needed an easy opener. I don't care that they're a good FCS school, you're Colorado! You have .38 and 9mms on your line. You have the best QB and best CB/WR in the country! You should run the table…….until Week 2.
I love that this team talks like they're in the National Title race, but in reality, they're staring down the barrel of a 5.5 Over/Under win total. +250000 to win the Natty and +1400 to even make the playoff. Do you think DraftKings knows about they're Defensive Line?!
