Tyrese Haliburton Handled His Lack Of Playing Time For Team USA More Than Perfectly
In the age of egos and cynicism and certain player's mother's whining about playing time, Tyrese Haliburton showed how it's done. He took the funny route, which will ALWAYS play. I mean obviously anyone with a brain knows he's one of the best players in the universe and at only 24 year old will have plenty of opportunities to make a splash for Team USA. I fully believe anyone who makes the Team is vital to it, with how hard the international competition is these days. But still, good on Hali for taking this approach and having fun with it, after he played just 26 minutes of ball in 6 games.
There was certainly a log-jam at guard, but they are all aging- Jrue is 34, Steph 36, and of course LBJ who is 39. It'll be interesting to see who comes back- weirdly out of those 3, doesn't it feel most likely LeBron will play again in 2028?
Anyway, A+ post from Haliburton and the 2028 follow up is going to be even better.
