FREE NELLY! Legend Nelly Arrested For Ecstasy

TMZ - Bad news for Nelly … the rapper was busted in Missouri … and cops say illicit drugs are involved.

Nelly was arrested early Wednesday morning for a couple offenses … possession of four ecstasy pills and not having insurance … according to online arrest records.

Look, I get nobody is above the law. I back the boys in blue. I applaud them for keeping our streets safe. But this is Nelly! We're arresting all time legends like Nelly for 4 ecstasy pills these days? My goodness! He did Hot In Herre! Ride Wit Me! Air Force Ones! Pimp Juice! The hits go on and on. Nelly, in one word…legend. 

Sometimes you gotta let a dude off with a warning. In this case you take a few selfies with him, get tickets to his upcoming show, pop a pill, and everyone moves on. Him and Ashanti just want to roll their faces off, no harm no foul. 

Usually I'm against people being above the law. But the instances where I'm not against it are for nostalgic folks from my childhood. Like if Frankie Muniz was pulled over for ecstasy, that's someone you let go too. You don't arrest Malcolm In The Middle. Same goes for any member of Hanson, Charlie Conway, Baby Spice (first crush), or Tony Hawk. Those people, and Nelly, get a pass.
