America's Newest Super Team - Scott Hanson And Andrew Siciliano Joined Forces For The First Time To Deliver 'Gold Zone' Octoboxes Today

Dear God it happened. Kane and Daniel Bryan. John Cena and Shawn Michaels. The Rock n Sock Connection. You get the point with the wrestling analogies here? Rivals turned partners, none of which have the power of Scott Hanson and Andrew Siciliano. No two people have been in front of our faces more because of Red Zone than those two. America loves football, for some weird reason all of America doesn't love wrestling. There are people reading this very here blog who don't understand this

Now there was once upon a time where people stood behind one of these men. You were either a Scott Hanson Red Zone guy or you had DirecTV and were an Andrew Siciliano guy. I knew Siciliano because I was a DirecTV fella. He was the man who would be on TV2 or the main channel if the Giants were on. I knew the voice, I knew what to expect, it took time for me to get used to Scott Hanson. But I gotta give the edge to Hanson for the way he understands the witching hour. 

This had to be a no-brainer though, right? Gold Zone has been awesome and honestly can't believe it took until 2024 for us to have this. Easy to just leave it on, have Hanson jump around and see various sports that we didn't even know existed. Some form of kayaking? Sure, show me the gold, pal. And what do you know? NBC listened to people who wanted to see them together:

You hear that everyone? That's the sound of the newest American superpower, flaunting two Red Zone guys on the screen at the Olympics. It's also the sound of football. It's so damn close.
