I Love These Videos: Chappell Roan Performing For 8 People In 2021 vs 100,000 People Now

 

I love these videos. Yes, obviously most artists start in smaller venues and then make their way to large venues, as naturally talent rises to the top and they gain fans and all that jazz. But it doesn't mean these videos don't register something with me. There's just something cool about seeing a singer or band follow their dream and go from playing for 8 people to 100,000 in 3 years.

Is fucking insane. And the fact she had the 5pm on Friday Lola spot- it's not like she was headlining. 

I actually just read an article about how it's awkward for her team right now because she booked a tour in smaller venues that she has to play meanwhile she can play god damn stadiums if she wants to. 

Now obviously her music ain't for everyone and that's ok, but there's no denying she has the music world in the palm of her hand right now. Noah Khahan loves her

From all accounts she works hard and writes her own music and now is making zillions of dollars living her dream, so can't say bad shit about her. Also that song "Casual", mama mia!
