Why Would Central Michigan Fire Their QB Coach, Who Worked For Jim Harbaugh At Michigan For 4 Years, On The First Day Of Training Camp?
So Central Michigan started training camp yesterday because they open their season in just 4 weeks against the gauntlet that is Central Connecticut State. Now I would assume that with a mammoth like that on the horizon, Jim McElwain would have both his team and his coaching staff locked in and ready to roll. No time for major changes when you only have 20 practices to get ready! So why would they be dismissing their QB coach......?
By the way, if don't know who Jake Kostner is, let me give you the bio of the now former Central Michigan quarterbacks coach:
Kostner is a Grand Haven, Michigan, native with deep ties in the state after working four years under former Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh as a student-assistant in the Wolverines football program.
Hmmmmm....worked for Harbaugh at Michigan. And a report comes out on Monday saying the NCAA is wrapping up their investigation into Michigan . And then this guy gets fired from Central Michigan on the very next day? Do you think, no never mind. Well, maybe? Do you think this could possibly be, no, not a chance. Okay I'll just say it. Do you think Jake Kostner could've helped Connor Stalions get onto the sidelines vs. Michigan State last year?
The only program not affected by this scandal has been Michigan!!!
Look I'm kinda getting tired of people acting like I'm the crazy one here. Jim Tressel lost 12 wins, a Sugar Bowl, and his fucking job because his players got tattoos. Not to mention the postseason ban and loss of scholarships. Oh and he wasn't allowed to go to the NFL either. How they can make that a punishment, I'm not sure. But it happened….for tattoos. And now we've got direct evidence showcasing that Michigan had a staffer on the sidelines of another school's game with sunglasses with cameras in them filming a conference opponent? And we can't fucking SLAP THEM ON THE FUCKING WRIST?
I'm losing my god damn mind over here. I just punched the chair next to me. Even without this CMU situation (even though it's all we need), the evidence is so clear that they cheated and knew about it and won because of it. A scoreboard and life altering type of cheating scandal. Michigan should lose all of their wins over the last 3 years + the National Championship AT MINIMUM. How am I the only one saying this???? Far worse punishments have been handed out for far less crimes.
