Build Your Perfect College Basketball School Draft (Coach, Arena, Uniform, Tradition, NIL Booster, Etc)

So Titus, Bosco, and myself had a "Build Your Perfect College" draft this week on the show. You guys know me, I'm not one to pat myself on the back.....but I do think it was a pretty good off-season activity for a podcast that focuses on college basketball. Or we could've release our transfer portal rankings? Either way, it was such a good idea that I'm hearing other college sports podcasts that are in their off-season may have picked up the rules sheet I left in the Mostly Sports studio that morning and are planning on doing it on their show next week!

They asked, they asked. No beef here, plus we didn't invent the concept of a draft. No worries at all, and I do look forward to listening to theirs....because it was fun and the topic for college football will be awesome. Can't decide if Urban Meyer, Ohio Stadium, Dotting the I, Across The Field, Helmet Stickers, or Tattoo Gate will go 1.1 overall but congrats to whoever gets to make that selection.

But anyways, here's how ours shook out. A huge key to remember when going over the draft board is that we made a rule that once a team was selected, no one was allowed to use them again. For example, once John Wooden was taken, you could not take any UCLA players, uniforms, arena, etc for the rest of the draft. Made it much harder and much more interesting. And one more thing: I'm not going to give the names with the teams because I'm that confident that I dominated, and I don't want any Ryders in here skewing the numbers because their fearful leader's mug is associated with a specific team.

* I do want to point out that neither Titus, Bosco, nor I made the graphic. We're all well aware that John Wooden did not coach at Indiana.

Landslide, no? In my book, we drafted "perfect" colleges and there's one on this list I wouldn't even want to attend! But as we can all see, there's one that's head and shoulders above the rest. That's my team.
