The Detroit Lions May Be Unstoppable Now That Hulk Hogan Has Teamed Up With Dan Campbell
Welp, looks like it's time for everyone to scrap their preseason predictions about what is going to happen in the 2024 NFL season before they even make them because I just don't see how the Detroit Lions aren't going to win the Super Bowl. I know every season in the (extreme announcers voice) NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE is full of craziness and chaos that nobody could have seen coming. But I simply cannot fathom a way the Lions don't bring home their first Lombardi Trophy after watching these two mega powers unite. Yes I used those words on purpose because this handshake was right out of the WWF glory days.
The Lions were already entering the season with a good chunk of their team that was thissssclose to making the Super Bowl, their offensive coordinator wunderkind somehow turned down a bunch of job offers with millions of dollars to finish the job, and Dan Campbell saying Dan Campbell things to get everyone full of piss and vinegar to finish the job this time. Throwing the power of Hulkamania on top of all of that makes the Lions as unbeatable as any team in the NFL...or at least the ones that don't have Patrick Mahomes.
I'm just happy that promo didn't end with "Real American" playing because I'm pretty sure that could've had Dan Campbell unleash a violent side that would've ended in multiple lives or at the very least kneecaps being lost.
P.S. I can't put into words how much I love that the Lions had to upgrade to a bigger podium just because Dan Campbell is a monster who could've crushed the old podium multiple times over the last few years.
