I Got Thrown Under The Gus Bus By UCF Coach Gus Malzahn

I can't stop catching shade from my horrendous WSOP Main Event Day 1 Bust. It has been coming from literally everyone from Big Cat to Nate to Twitter. 

Now you can add UCF Football Coach Gus Malzahn to that list. This morning on Wake Up Mintzy, SJ Tuohy delivered a message from Coach Malzahn that he was bragging about me to his friends and I laid an egg.

Well No Crap. I got the message loud and clear. The last week has stunk since. Hopefully UCF does not do the same this fall in the Big 12. The Knights are pretty hyped up for this season behind Arkansas QB Transfer KJ Jefferson at the helm.

SJ Tuohy was a treasure trove of stories this morning from The Blind Side fame to Hugh Freeze to running the NIL for UCF. There's no denying he's lived a heckuva life in his 31 years on earth. He worked for Chad Morris at SMU & Arkansas, Freeze at Auburn and now Malzahn at UCF in pursuit of his dream to become a college athletic director one day.

I got him to tell some funny Coach Freeze stories as well as talk about what life was like after The Blind Side came out.
