Bronny James Might Shooting 0% From The 3 Point Line, But He Just Won The NBA Summer League Call of Duty Tournament And $10,000
So Bronny James may be 0-12 from the three point line in his three Summer League games so far, but don't say he's a bad shooter. I know you could make that argument because he's a grand total of 6 for 26 from the field, averaging 5 points per game in a league surrounded by people that didn't even get drafted into the league he gets paid $2 million a year to play in.....but that's not the type of shooter I'm talking about. The type of shooter I'm talking about is on video games, where Bronny James is literally THE BEST out of all NBA Summer League players. Source: the NBA Summer League Call of Duty tournament.
The lovers are going to say that winners win, and the losers are going to make Kyler Murray comparisons and say he spends too much time on the sticks and not enough time getting better, but neither of those people are not me. My take is that Bronny got drafted into the wrong league. Any chance that we could play out the traditional movie scene where Bron Sr. has been making Bronny play basketball his whole life, while all he wants to do is play Xbox.
"I got you drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers and you weren't a Top 100 player in the draft!" - Bron Sr.
"But I don't want YOUR life Dad" - Bronny
"Wait, what? Why didn't you ever say that? I thought you loved basketball?" - Bron Sr.
"No, you love basketball. I LOVE video games" - Bronny
Side Note: Hilarious that the $10,000 prize is supposed to be really cool for whatever young buck won this at the Summer League….and it's literally chump change to Bronny whose dad's worth a mere $1.2 BILLION. Even Bronny has an estimated net worth of $10 million, so this 10K doesn't move the needle at all. I would say give the guy who came in 2nd the prize money, but then again, if there's one thing I know about Bronny James, it's that he's not a handout guy.
