Nick Saban Says That "Texas Ain't Gonna Run The SEC" And That Alabama Won't Play For The SEC Title This Year

So Nick Saban has been in the media for like twenty minutes and he's already mastered the game. After a slow start of being sent back to his hotel room in the morning for not having his credential to enter SEC Media Days, he finally showed proper identification and came in guns a blazing. He started off by proclaiming this this ain't the Big 12 and Texas ain't running this league.

I think it's safe to say they won't because it's damn hard to run the most competitive conference in football, although they do have the 2nd best odds to win the SEC this year, but my question is this.....who said they ran the Big 12? Texas was in the Big 12 from from 1996 to 2023, and they won a grand total of...4 conference championships? Am I reading that correctly?

But more importantly, Nick Saban had to opportunity to predict the SEC Title game this year and he.....left Alabama out?

The amount of people that have suddenly forgotten who we're dealing with here is laugh out loud funny to me. You think Nick Saban just suddenly became the most honest man in show business? Or do you think he's making sure his Alabama team doesn't get one ounce of rat poison in their system. He's giving them a rallying cry….even their old coach, the guy who recruited some of them, doesn't believe in them! All the Alabama fans complaining about this prediction should actually be saying thank you. Nick Saban just gave the team another chip on their shoulder.

And you can add that chip to the fucking BAG of chips that Quinn Ewers is giving the rest of the SEC…

Man I can't wait for college football. Texas supposedly has the team to do it this year, but they aren't playing Kansas and Texas Tech anymore each week. If they can get through Michigan (they will) and Oklahoma (they should), Texas hosting Georgia on October 19th at Darrel K Royal actually will be the biggest game of the year.
