Blake Griffin Couldn't Stop Himself From Laughing When Asked How His 'Clipped' TV Show Character Looks Nothing Like Him

Not sure if you've had the unfortunate chance to check out FX's 'Clipped' but it's truly some of the worst teleivison you'll ever lay your eyes on. It's impressive that despite the trailer making you think it's a piece of shit, it ends up being far worse. 

One of the clear signs that the show had zero chance of catching on was the casting, or lack there of. Across the board they didn't nail a single person. Not one. Look at this shit. That guy in the bottom right corner is supposed to be Stephen Curry. 

It's almost like they did this intentionally so it would get people talking about the show and get them to tune in. That's the only spinzone I have, and it's admittedly a bad one. 

On PMT yesterday Blake Griffin was asked about his portrayal and lost it. Josh Allen trying to gas him up for being represented on a TV show only to get laughed at was great. It's that bad.

And sure casting isn't everything, but when you're trying to retell a story about real people then it kinda is. Casting aside though, the acting and writing is awful. I gave it two episodes before putting myself out of my own misery. 

The fact that HBO's Winning Time got axed after two seasons and something like this was allowed to see the light of day is insanity. That was a legitimate good show that I was excited to watch every Sunday. It got killed off because of the strike and it's a damn shame. When that happened last September I wrote about my frustration here. 

Was it the most accurate show in the world? No, they definitely stretched how crazy a person Jerry West was for example. Did that rub some people the wrong way? Probably, but it's a fucking TV show. It's entertainment. Of course it's not going to be exactly what happened. You want that, go watch a documentary. 'Winning Time' was objecting a good show and deserved better. Instead we get 'Clipped.'
