Guardians Prospect Jhonkensy Noel's First Career At-Bat Consisted Of Him Throwing His Bat 100+ Feet Over 3rd And Then Launching The Ball 400+ Feet Over The Fence

So the main account snagged the result of the first career at-bat for Guardians prospect Jhonkensy Noel, which in itself is a great story. But let's tell the entire thing boys! The man came up to the plate, took a daddy hack in his first ever cut, and combined with the inevitable nerves, let go of the bat and launched it 100 feet down the 3rd base line. Could've killed a man with his first swing! Instead, everyone had a big laugh about it, and he did the only thing he could possibly do to redeem himself from the embarrassment: launch the next pitch 400+ feet.

Now THAT is what you call a memorable first at-bat. And now the question must be asked.....and I'm not trying to put too much pressure on the kid this early in his career.....but he has homered in 100% of career at-bats as of now. Should we build the statue outside the stadium now? Or should we wait until a little more evidence comes in? I would lean towards the latter but the reviews coming in from those who have been watching him for years seem pretty strong...

Mark McGwire!!! The Guardians are in 1st place in baseball, have the 1st pick in the draft, and just called up Mark fucking McGwire? To quote my Dad who likes to quote his late Father: God my God is it great to be from Cleveland.
