This has to be one of the funniest player signing announcements in the history of football. Usually, when a team signs the greatest player in the world, there's an insane hype video or at least a cool jersey swap. Well, that's not the case for the 2024 UEFA Champions League winners. In American terms, this is like your favorite team winning the Super Bowl and then signing Patrick Mahomes. And all they did to announce the big news was post their team logo and a one-sentence press release. It's just another day at the office for them.

All jokes aside, the Champions League is fucked. As much as I love Arsenal were officially fucked, "champions of Europe we'll never sing that" will remain true for at least another 4-5 years. No one is going to touch this Madrid team. If your favorite team plays in La Liga you might as well put yourself in a coma once the season starts because there is no point in watching the games. Madrid is going to raw dog this league harder than Frank The Tank.
