Mets Reliever Jorge Lopez Got Thrown Out Of A Game, Tossed His Glove Into The Crowd, Then Said He's "Been On The Worst Team In Probably The Whole Fucking MLB"

Press Play To Experience This Blog As It Is Intended To Be Experienced:

Ohhhh fuuuuuuuck yeahhhhhh. Most fanbases would be mortified to see one of their players turn into an angry little leaguer on the field before running over his teammates with a proverbial bus in a postgame press conference. But not Mets fans. You see, this is normal to us. We were raised in the darkness. Molded by it. The constant losing is one thing. Any team can lose. But to lose while embarrassing the entire organization is what separates the New York Metropolitan Baseball Club from the other 29 teams.

Now this is the thing about Jorge Lopez. I don't really have any problem with anything did...other than throwing his glove to a Yankees fan. If you are going to give a rando a souvenir, at least throw it to a Mets fan that has suffered with this team instead of a Yankees fan who can put it in their basement as a reminder of how much the joke the team across town is. Getting pissed during a game is understandable, especially during a game in this already lost season on this dogshit team. But you cannot, I repeat CANNOT, allow a fan that has gotten to witness a dynasty a borough away to get the glove that started this whole shitstorm.

I'm fine with everything Jorge said though. Every Mets fan that has watched this team knows they may not have the worst record in Major League Baseball, but they are the worrrrrrrrrrrrrrrst. To watch. To root for. To merely think about. #JorgeWasRight

Unfortunately for Jorge and his fellow bullpen mates, they are quite a big part of the problem.

However to be fair, when the bullpen is good, either the hitting or the starting pitching absolutely sucks, hence why this team is the fucking worst. Good times in Queens once again!

I'm sure the Mets PR team is working overtime to craft a response to this, to which I say in order to move forward, we need to go back to the past!

Yes, that was tweeted after Mr. Met infamously flipped the bird.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. God I love rooting for this team. I mean I hate it and it's taken years off my already shortened life. But at least I feel something right now for the first time since the 2022 season came to an end.

Now in addition to the best deal in sports, fans now know there is a chance they will catch a real piece of memorabilia from a member of the worst team in the fucking MLB (Jorge's words, not mine. But also mine). So make sure to head to Barstool At The Ballpark this Saturday for day drinking, ballpark food, and Darryl Strawberry's number retirement. I promise we will not make you watch the actual Mets play on the field.

I would now like the extend this invitation to Jorge all expenses paid since he won't be getting paid to pitch at Citi Field anymore since the Mets moved FAST in cuncelling him after he cuncelled them.
