Ranking The Top 10 Tropical Drinks For The Summer

I have returned from vacation and on the trip, I did some tropical drink reviews. In my opinion, here are my top 10:

10) Sparkling Paradise

Sparkling white wine, vodka, pear, green apple, berries, lime, and ice

9) Tequila Sunrise

Tequila, orange juice, grenadine, and ice

8) Strawberry Daiquiri

White rum, strawberries, lime juice, syrup, blended with ice

7) Pink Panther

Coconut rum, vodka, peach schnapps, triple sec, grapefruit juice, grenadine, blended with ice

6) Blue Hawaiian

Rum, blue curacao, pineapple juice, sweet & sour mix, blended with ice

5) Pink Mezcal

Mezcal, pink grapefruit juice, lime juice, grapefruit soda, and ice. Spicy salt on the rim. 

4) Paloma

Tequila, lime juice, grapefruit juice, and ice. Salt on the rim. 

3) Pina Colada

White rum, pineapple, coconut milk, coconut cream, lime juice, blended with ice. Typically garnished with a cherry or an orange.

2) Mojito

White rum, lime juice, simple syrup, club soda, fresh mint, and ice

1) Miami Vice

White rum, coconut cream, pineapple juice, strawberry, blended with ice

I went in thinking the Pina Colada would be the #1 by a lot, but I was surprised. The Mojito gets it by a smidge and the Miami Vice is the best tropical drink by good margin. It's like a Pina Colada, but a bit more fruity and refreshing. It's the perfect blend of flavors and should be your choice next time you're at a place that serves them during the summer.
