Charles Barkley Ripped Into The "Petty WNBA Players" That Should Be Thanking Caitlin Clark Instead Of Hating On Her

SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK, CHUCK!!!!!!

If I've said it once, I've said it a hundred thousand times: it's absolutely fucking bananas that the WNBA cries from the mountaintops how little attention and respect they get, but as soon as they start to get it because of Caitlin Clark, they hate on her. The WNBA players should be on their knees (relax, Harrison Butker fans) kissing Caitlin's feet for all she's done for them. Oh, you want private flights? Caitlin walks through the airport one time and boom, the entire league gets chartered flights for the next two seasons. You want bigger crowds? Caitlin plays in one preseason game and gets 2x the highest attended Fever game from all of last season. The list goes on and on and on. I mean, the totality of WNBA blogs on Barstool in the last decade is about four. Caitlin Clark gets one almost every other day. And the attention is all positive!!! But the response from the WNBA players seems so negative....?

Diana Taurasi keeps her petty ass....Chuck's words, not mine....hating though:

The "new fans"? Diana, literally every single fan of the WNBA besides like 3 of them are new fans. And you should realize more than any that a rising tide lifts all boats. I'm sorry you weren't electric enough to make this amount of change over your entire career that she made in the first two weeks, but don't you want the game to get better for future generations? Or maybe Diana should keep riding on Spirit Airlines if she wants to keep talking shit about Caitlin instead of thanking her.

** Final Note: Let's not lose sight of the fact that this is a prime example as to why Inside The NBA is the best show on television, and we're going to miss them dearly. Who else can start a rant with "You women out there" and not get canceled? Charles Barkley and Inside The NBA are a national treasure, and we should be preserving them, not ending them.
