Tyrese Haliburton Hardly Able To Walk While Leaving His Post Game Interview Shows He's One Of The Toughest Players In The NBA

What isn't hurt on Tyrese Haliburton? Hamstring, ankle, back, broken ass bone. This season has Haliburton's body looking like a Ben Rothlesberger year 18 injury chart. All the respect in the world for this hobbled hardwood warrior shaking off injuries, his Game 1 mindset, and reminding everyone in the league that the fake superstar talk is absolute bullshit. After that the game time adrenaline had worn off, it was obvious he's not in great shape. Dude's the definition of a gamer, and it's only his first time in the NBA playoffs at 24 years old. Haliburton's only going to get better with experience. If we are going to collectively cream our pants for Brunson playing hurt, Haliburton deserves some respect as well. Instead, Knicks fans are saying Tyrese is faking being hurt. Loser talk. There's been a lot of that recently.

You've got basketball fans saying the Pacers wouldn't be in the second round, or would be down 3-0 if their opponents weren't hurt. Injuries suck, and leave you wondering what if, but quit bitching about players getting hurt like your team is the only one affected by injuries. In any sport, teams staying healthy plays a massive role in who wins a championship, along with talent, and some lucky breaks. If Bob Sanders didn't tackle by throw himself into players like an SUV crashing into a concrete highway divider at 100 mph, with his bones made of glass, Peyton Manning might have won a billion Super Bowls. Pacer fans knows the devastation of injuries, especially to star players - Paul George, Victor Oladipo, Danny Granger. So, to talk about injuries like they only affect your team is crazy. It's almost as annoying as blaming the officials after a loss. It's loser talk.

What was that campaign slogan? When they go low, we do the exact same thing? This had to be trolling, or damage control to counter Rick Carlisle's post game small market conspiracy comments? After game 3 the same Knick fans making fun of the Pacers for bitching about fouls, are now bitching about fouls. Pacers and Knicks are now officially in the midst of a bitching war.

The officials definitely haven't been great this series. In fact, they've been piss poor, but the calls are going both ways, and the home team is getting the whistle. That's basketball. Yeah, it's therapeutic to bitch about calls, but to use them as the sole reason for the game's outcome is loser talk. Obviously you take whatever call goes your way, but everyone should upset the refs ruined the ending of Game 1 with a weak moving screen instead of being able to see what Haliburton / the Knicks defense could do with the final possession in a game winning scenario.

Complaining is fun, and I guess a small part of what being a fan is all about, but I hope it doesn't ruin our good time. I'm not trying to talk down from my high horse, but I'm tired of the bullshit overshadowing the fact that this series has been incredible. Game 1 came down to the last possession, Game 2 was an insanely gritty Brunson / OG tag team match, Game 3 ended on a go ahead shot from the logo. Tyrese and Brunson are legit stars. The rivalry is back. I can't wait to see what happens in Game 4 - and then bitch about it online.
