Little update here on a Monday. On Friday I put out that blog, asking all of us to come together for fan favorite Alica Schmidt as she was getting ready to qualify for the Olympics. Well, guess what folks? We did it. We willed Alica Schmidt to the Olympics.

Bang. There was never a doubt once everyone realized we had one thing to cheer for. Now we all can get locked into the mixed 4x400 relay this summer. Everyone knows that's the most prestigious mixed relay race the Olympics offer. This is all about redemption though. This isn't her first Olympics, but it could be the first one she races in.
There's no bigger story in sports than a redemption story. Now you get to do it at the biggest stage? This should be primetime television. Think of the content, Olympics! Think of the potential blog pageviews! It's a team game when we're talking about the mixed relay race, it's a team game for content too. All that matters though is the ticket was punched. That's step 1. Step 2 is getting to race this time around. Don't let us down, teammates. Step 3 is getting a medal.
