The Fact No One Is Really Arguing About Anthony Edwards Being Compared To Michael Jordan Proves That Ant Is The Face Of The League

We know what happened last night. Anthony Edwards went out and destroyed the entire Suns organization, their plan, their hope and dreams. But what is happening right now might be even more impressive. It's something I don't ever remember happening before. People are calling Anthony Edwards the son of Michael Jordan, comparing everything about his game and the way he talks to Michael Jordan. He's not the first to be compared to MJ, remember DeShawn Stevenson? But he's the first to be compared and no one batting an eye at it. Need proof?

Let me be clear, no one is calling him as good as MJ. No one is saying he's the greatest player ever. But everything about Ant's game mimics Jordan. He has the same mannerisms, the way he talks about KAT and hits him with the 'stop fucking fouling', the dunks, the look. And again, no one is really arguing about it! That's all you need for proof that Ant is the face of the league. He's one of the most entertaining players the league has. He has the Timberwolves in the second round after a sweep. The Wolves literally have never swept a team in the playoffs.

The dude is hilarious too. He'll shit talk anyone, he'll say whatever is on his mind and then he goes out and delivers. That's the type of guy who should be the face of the league. We're getting ready to enter a new era in the NBA anyways. Steph, LeBron, Kawhi, all those guys are just getting old and not even on title contenders anymore. Obviously Jokic and Giannis are still here and in their prime, but that next group coming up of Ant and Shai are here.

Again, no one is saying Ant is MJ because he's going to be the greatest player to ever be in the NBA, it's his style of play. Go watch younger Jordan and you can see the similarities. It ain't wrong an the fact people are mostly agreeing with it is just even more proof of where Ant is as a player.
