Apparently Scouts Are Saying That Marvin Harrison Jr. Might Slide To WR2 In The Draft Because He Doesn't "Wow You" Or Have That Dog In Him
So Bruce Feldman wrote an article with a bunch of confidential (cowardly) takes from NFL team representatives, and the narrative he and LSU's Malik Nabers agent are trying to spread is that Nabers is the #1 receiver in the draft, not Marvin Harrison. It's false and it's not true, but if you really want to say things like this, put your name on it.
“(Harrison’s) not No. 1 to me,” said a veteran NFL receivers coach, whose team is in the market for another top receiver, and whom we’ll ID as WR Coach 1. “(LSU’s Malik) Nabers is the No. 1 on my list and I think he is on a lot of people’s lists. He’s just different to me. I don’t think it’s anything toward Marvin, it’s just really that Nabers is that good.
Fine. Be wrong if you must, but don't LIE like these two "scouts" and "WR coaches" are doing through their teeth.

“Harrison is like a fluid, smooth receiver,” said WR Coach 2. “He doesn’t have the same elite traits like Nabers. He can separate and catches the ball real well. I don’t think he wows you."
I'll get to the doesn't have that dog in him like Malik in a second, but first I'd like to speak to the human being that uttered the words "don't think he wows you" when speaking about THIS GUY:
Am I crazy or was he not "wowing" America literally every single week during the season last year? I hate this culture of trying to tear down the top prospects between the end of the season and the Draft, but I will not allow this to happen to Marvin Harrison Jr. Doesn't have that innate dog in him like Malik Nabers? Does that mean that his life was too easy growing up because his Dad played in the NFL? Or that because he makes everything look so easy that he doesn't have that grit to him?
Whatever…..I know this is all bullshit, but I've LOVE it if it were true. I want my guy Marv to go 1.1 overall like he should, but if he doesn't have that dog in him, Fall Marvin Fall! All the way to the 2nd round (since the Browns gave away their 1st rounders for the next century for Deshaun Watson) please!
* For the record, I just asked Liam Blutman what % chance that Nabers goes before Harrison tomorrow night and he said "2 percent, but that might be too high"
