Anthony Edwards Talking A Ton Of Shit To Kevin Durant As He Dominated The Suns Was So Damn Awesome

When you put up 33/9/6 in a win you can talk as much shit as you want. Anthony Edwards will do just that, that's a promise. He doesn't care if it's Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal, Grayson Allen or someone like Drew Eubanks, he's gonna talk a copious amount of shit. Good. It's playoff basketball. I want guys to do things like this knowing that a best-of-7 series will just get more heated as it goes on. 

This could (I stress could) be one of those moments we look back on and be like yeah that's when everyone should have jus realized how damn good Anthony Edwards is. He's on the shortlist of guys who are next. LeBron, KD, Steph are all getting older, not really breaking news there. Coming up next are the Ant's, Wemby's, etc of the world. That's AWESOME. I want Anthony Edwards to continue to do this because he's incredible to watch. Remember when everyone wondered how good he'd be because he kept talking about how basketball was whatever to him before the Draft? Yeah, we were dumb for thinking anything otherwise.

And I know it's just game 1. But this is how you set the tone. You start by single-handedly kicking the Suns ass and drive it home by talking shit. Great reaction by Durant too. What can he do? He was losing here. The only thing you can do is laugh and embrace it. Tough to do anything besides come out and win the next game when you're cooked in game 1.
